So what's the over / under on how long for the river to clear up after this blow?? A week? 2 weeks? The timing on this thing is just awful concerning the fall fishing. OK, rant over,

It depends on the species, bait, and amount of fresh water. Trout and reds and flounder can handle pretty low salinity. I've caught a flounder out of Sutton Lake before. My advice is to find as clean water as you can.

you can pretty much bank on the bait (pogies)and the mackerel being gone from the beach after all this fresh water
