Report for week of Oct 15 - 19. Southport - OKI
We've been catching Redfish, Flounder, and Trout on live baits, both on corks and on the bottom. Finger mullet and pogies are pretty thick in this area as well. Deeper channels seem to be holding the most.
Un-usuals for the week: I had a friend with me Tues who caught a 20" Flounder while drifting a short, cork / mud minnow combo over a 6-7' deep channel! Yesterday I hooked a lost / misplaced Catfish in the marsh! :lol:
Water temps are down to 71-74.
I love this time of year!!!!
